About Boston Blossoms

Boston Blossoms is a florist in Boston, Massachusetts. It is listed at 712 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA 02215, which places it among the local businesses of Boston that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Boston Blossoms at (617) 536-8600; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is bostonflowers.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 213 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Boston is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Boston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolute waste of money. Flowers seems like something I would pay $50 for, especially when I chose the higher end option… what I thought was coming and what the recipient received.

Very disappointing experience: I ordered the Bright Blooms bouquet which shows a bow on the vase and ordered an additional Baby Boy balloon: the flowers that were delivered were half white and not nearly as full as the photo on the order site. The balloon wasn't delivered, nor was the bow on the vase. I also requested a delivery confirmation which never arrived so I had to keep texting my daughter to see if she had received the flowers. Never again.

Very disappointed. I paid $200 for a bouquet for my girlfriend, and most of the flowers were dead the next day. That’s unacceptable for this price. They were placed in some kind of soaked foam instead of proper water, which likely caused them to die quickly. Either way, $200 for flowers that last one day is not worth it. I’ve ordered from this place multiple times before, but after this experience, I think this will be my last order.

I bought some flowers from them for Valentine’s Day. When I receive the flowers, first thing I noticed is the water to the bottom of the flowers was dirty, then I noticed it had no plant food for the flowers. By the fourth day, the flowers was healed over welding by the fifth day the flowers were dead, all bent over hanging from the vase. I didn’t call Boston blooms where the Customer Service was absolutely atrocious. As I mentioned something about the flowers, the gentleman began to talk to me in a very condescending tone before the conversation was over. It was most definitely a disrespectful attitude taken with me. I was told Boss and blooms only guarantees their flowers for one day after a back-and-forth, the gentleman said to me, there’s nothing I can do for you and hung the phone up on me. I then called back 8-10 Times, they then refused to answer the phone when I call back. Everyone in the store sat around and just watched the phone ring and would not answer. I eventually called from my girlfriendβ€˜s phone spoke with the manager, and that interaction was only a tad bit better than the employee I spoke with previously. I just Want to say when I buy flowers from Wilson’s flower

I placed an order for flowers on 2/3 for delivery on 2/4. On 2/4, I received no confirmation or communication, so I called to ask whether the flowers had been delivered. The employee I spoke with told me they were delivered. Since I ordered them on behalf of a coworker, I had to check with multiple office staff and building management, all of whom confirmed the flowers had never arrived. If I had not followed up myself, I would have been left believing the flowers were delivered when they were not. At no point did the business proactively inform me that the delivery had failed, and had instead lied saying they were delivered. I followed up again on 2/10 and was told I would receive a callback. When they finally called me back, they said the flowers had just been sent out β€” nearly a week late β€” and only after I had called multiple times to check. They also substituted the wagon I originally ordered with a vase without asking for my approval. No one confirmed whether I still wanted the flowers delivered a week late, nor did they ask whether the substitution was acceptable. I would not have agreed to either. When I contacted the owner to request a refund or at least a partial disc
